Getting started

Installation

Install cSlope on Windows, update it, and remove it again.

Requirements

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit.
  • No licence key, account or internet connection is needed to use the program.

macOS and Linux versions will follow.

Install

  1. 1

    Download the installer

Open the download page and download the Windows installer, cSlope-Windows-<version>-Setup.exe. To verify the file, the release on GitHub also has cSlope-Windows-<version>-Setup.exe.sha256, which holds its SHA-256 checksum.

  2. 2

    Run the installer

Choose whether to install for your own account only (no administrator rights needed) and the installation folder.

If Windows SmartScreen shows Windows protected your PC, choose More info and then Run anyway. The message appears because the installer is not yet code-signed.

  3. 3

    Start cSlope

Start cSlope from the Start menu or the desktop shortcut.

Tip

To see a complete analysis straight away, open Help › Benchmarks and choose one of the built-in models. The first tutorial walks through building a model from scratch.

Update

Download and run the installer of the new version. It replaces the program and keeps your project files, which are stored wherever you saved them. The changelog lists what changed in each version.

Uninstall

Remove cSlope from Settings › Apps in Windows. Your project files are not removed.

Build from source

cSlope is open source. To run it from the source code, install Bun, then:

git clone https://github.com/ZilanCiftci/cslope.git
cd cslope
bun install
bun run dev
